Corfix Connect: QuickBooks Online

This article explains how Corfix Connect works with QuickBooks Online, what data syncs between the two platforms, and why it matters for your team.

Overview

QuickBooks Online is a leading accounting and payroll platform used to manage jobs, financials, and workforce data. With Corfix Connect, you can integrate QuickBooks Online directly with Corfix to ensure time tracking information flows seamlessly between systems — reducing manual entry and keeping teams aligned.

Why It Matters

Managing projects and labor across separate systems often leads to duplicated work, delayed reporting, and data inconsistencies.

With this integration:

  • Time tracked in Corfix flows back into QuickBooks Online for payroll and financial processing.

  • Cost Codes and Pay Rates are mapped accurately to ensure financial records are precise.

  • This ensures your field teams and back-office systems stay in sync without requiring double entry.

How It Works

This integration focuses on a streamlined data flow to automate your payroll exports:

1. Time Card Sync (Corfix → QuickBooks Online)

Corfix acts as the source for time tracking. Approved time card data is sent to QuickBooks Online automatically on a weekly basis (once per pay cycle) and mapped into QuickBooks Online’s weekly timesheet structures.

Key behaviors:

  • Time card data flows from Corfix into QuickBooks Online weekly.

  • Corfix Workers are mapped to QuickBooks Online Employees.

  • Corfix Projects are mapped to QuickBooks Online Customers.

  • Corfix Cost Codes are mapped to QuickBooks Online Services.

  • Corfix Pay Rates are mapped to QuickBooks Online Pay Types.

  • No reverse sync occurs beyond what is defined above.
