Corfix Connect: Salesforce Integration

This article explains how Corfix Connect works with Salesforc, what data syncs between the two platforms, and why it matters for your team.

Overview

Salesforce is a leading CRM platform used to manage opportunities, sales pipelines, and customer relationships. With Corfix Connect, you can link Salesforce directly to Corfix so that when an Opportunity reaches the appropriate stage, a corresponding project is automatically created in Corfix — eliminating manual setup and ensuring alignment between sales and operations.

Why It Matters

For teams managing their pipeline in Salesforce, transitioning a deal from “won” to active project often requires manual project creation in downstream systems. This creates delays, inconsistencies, and duplicate work.

With this integration, once an Opportunity reaches the “Go” stage in Salesforce, a project is automatically created in Corfix in real time. This ensures your operations and field teams have immediate access to accurate project information without any manual data entry.

How It Works

This is a one-way sync from Salesforce into Corfix.

Salesforce acts as the system of record. When an Opportunity stage is updated to “Go”, Corfix Connect automatically creates a corresponding project in Corfix using predefined field mappings.

Key behaviors:

  • Project creation is triggered when an Opportunity moves to “Go”, whether manually or via Salesforce automation.
  • Duplicate detection prevents projects from being created more than once.
  • Only new Opportunities moving to “Go” going forward are synced — historical records are not included.
  • Sync occurs in real time.

No data flows from Corfix back into Salesforce.

What Data Can Be Synced?
