Moving Workers Back to Kiosk Mode

We’ve had issues in the past where workers are activated but they decide they would rather not login to the app and would rather use kiosk mode. We have added the ability to move a worker that is in pending verification back to kiosk mode.


30 Day External Links

External links now last 30 days before they expire!


Default Templates to Have Draft + Autosave

Templates will now have draft mode turned out by default. It remains a setting that can be turned off but it will be enabled for everything after the release.


More Select All Buttons

We’ve added select all buttons to many more locations across the admin and mobile app.


Save Pictures to Gallery Automatically

When taking images in the Corfix app the images will not automatically be saved to the user's camera roll.


Duplicate Form

Forms from a previous day can now be duplicated. This should allow for quicker filling out. This is also controlled by a toggle in the template. New forms will automatically have this toggled on. This setting for Templates created before this update will need to be toggled on manually.


Markup Images on Mobile

After taking a picture in the mobile app you can now mark it up by drawing in 4 wonderful colours. Go crazy


Currently on IOS only, Android to follow.


Timekeeping Changes:


Pay Periods

This will simplify the export and viewing of hour summaries for admin and workers. Most of the time they care more about the current pay cycle than what the months or weeks total is. With this new feature you can set up the pay schedule within our tool and hours will be calculated using that period. Moreover export can be done using that pay cycle as well.



Punch-In Outside of Geofence

You can now allow workers to punch in to projects when they are outside of its geofence. This will flag the timecard for review.


Project Missing Coordinates Warning

Currently there’s no good way to know which projects may be missing a geolocation. As this is a necessary requirement to allow geofencing to work we have added a warning message to the timekeeping settings that will inform you which projects are missing coordinates. Moreover if you are saving a project that is missing a geolocation we will warn and inform the user about how to add a location to that project.


Flag Potential Conflicts

You can now enable a check on created time cards that will flag any if the system things their is a chance a mistake was made. It checks against the pay rates overtime to see if the worker has too many hours for a given day.


Schedules

Schedule times now have an all day toggle. On top of this the way we store the hours has changed which will make it simpler when dealing with projects in different timezones.


Double Time

You can now specify double the same way you could overtime. This includes extra rows in exports as well for the default and quickbooks desktop exports.


Rate Overrides

It is now possible to specify specific time ranges that will force a worker's time to be either overtime or double time. You can also specify that any hours worked outside of a project's schedule are overtime or double time.


Easier Timecard Approval

In the timecards list we’ve added many more columns and the ability to select multiple timecards and approve them all at once. We’ve also added icons so admins can see if a timecard has additional data that they need to view.


Admin Add and Edit Pages

These pages have been heavily reworked to allow simpler input of data. Also now when editing data in the admin the values will be stored as specified. This will allow the input of inconsistent data but should allow for easier editing by admins.


Timecard Change Auditing

All changes made to a timecard will now be documented at the bottom of the timecard edit page. This will allow admins to see what and which changes were made to a timecard over it’s lifetime.



More Useful Default Export

The default export will now export cost codes into their own column. This will allow for easier filtering, and viewing of data for those customers that are using our default export.


Quickbooks Online Integration (Jan)

Full blown integration type stuff. Won’t be in the initial release, just needs to be thoroughly tested before release. (Jan)


Sage50 CAN Export (Feb)

Another classic export to be imported into Sage50. Won’t be in the initial release, just needs to be thoroughly tested before release. (Feb)

Confirmation on Punch in/out

You will now get a confirmation bar on your app when punching in and out. This will make it more clear to the workers!


Mobile Bulk Creation Changes

When creating time cards in bulk you can now specify start and end times. You can also specify values for all workers in one field instead of needing to individually add for every worker.


Switch Projects Button

They asked for it, so here it is! You can enable a switch jobs button for workers to use when switching jobs. This will skip time rounding to allow exact times to be captured.
