How do I filter projects by staffing status in Scheduling?
Narrow the schedule board to just the projects that need attention, without scrolling through every row.
Quick answer
Above the project list, four status filters — All, Needs Attention, Complete, and No Schedule — each show a count. Click one to show only the projects in that state for the current week.
Overview
As your project list grows, scanning every row for staffing gaps gets slow. The status filters do that scanning for you: each one narrows the grid down to projects matching a specific staffing condition, so you can jump straight to the ones that need work.
Before you begin
- Status filters are available to admins in the web portal.
- Filters apply to the week currently shown on the board.
Steps
- Find the filter bar. It sits directly above the project rows, showing All, Needs Attention, Complete, and No Schedule, each with a count next to it.
- Click a filter to narrow the grid. For example, click Needs Attention to show only projects with a card missing required workers or assets for the visible week.
- Read the count before you click. The number next to each filter tells you how many projects are in that state right now, so you can gauge the work before you dive in.
- Clear the filter. Click All to bring every project back into view.
Use cases
- Morning triage: filter to Needs Attention first thing to see exactly which projects still need workers or assets before the day starts.
- Week-ahead planning: filter to No Schedule before a new week begins to catch any project that hasn't been touched yet.
Troubleshooting
A project I fixed is still showing under Needs Attention. The filter reflects the current state of the board — reopen the card to confirm every required worker and asset slot is filled and saved.
Can I combine filters, like Needs Attention and No Schedule at once? No — one filter is active at a time. Use All and the Search projects box together if you need a broader view.
