This article will summarize how you can add a Choice List you have created to a drop down in a template.
1. Create a Choice List;
Templates>Manage Choice List>Add
Don't worry about adding the list alphabetically, once you save the Choice List the system will automatically change the order to alphabetical.
If a Choice List is being used in a template that is being filled out in the field, and you are making larger changes to the list, it is best to archive templates and start with a new Choice List and Template. Follow this link for more on how to archive Templates.
2. Once the Choice List is saved, find your way over to the Template Builder.
3. Once in the Template Builder, drag and drop a Dropdown Component.
4. Then Select the Data tab, under Data Source Type choose, Choice List.
5. Use the Select Choice List drop-down and choose from your created Choice Lists.
6. Lastly, push Save and Save the Template.
