This article will summarize how to archive a template within Corfix.
This archiving process is only needed when you are changing a template that already has completed forms(active template) in the All Forms page.
You should archive when the following is done within an active template;
- Deleting anything from the template.
- Swapping component types (Select boxes to a radio with the same data point, for example).
- Moving a component into or out of a data grid/edit grid.
- Changing the Filled By setting (Creator, Signer or Both)
Please contact support through the support chat on the admin if you are unsure before making changes.
Below are the steps to successfully archive a template in Corfix. Following this process will give you;
- Improved filtering on the All Forms Page
- A less cluttered Template page.
1. Make a copy.
2. Make edits to the copied template.
3. Rename old Template as seen below;
4. Change the now archived Template to an inactive Template
5. Optional: Delete the now Inactive template. You can keep this template in the list in case you want to come back to it later.
Deleting the archived template as shown above will not delete any already completed Forms.
6. Remove "- Copy" from the copied template name and you have successfully archived your Template!
As for your already completed forms, they will now display as seen below on the All Forms page.
