March 2026 Product Release

This article will summarize the product release for March 2026.

Digital Certification Cards

Certification proof, ready when you need it. We've added a one-click way to generate a shareable image using certification data already stored in Corfix. Quickly produce certification cards from existing data, even when a photo of the original document isn’t available. From the app, a Worker can then promptly display the card:

graphical user interface

To set this up from Corfix Admin, from the "Add New Certification" screen, toggle on the setting to "Generate Digital Certification". From there, you can view a preview and save the generated certification to the worker(s) set in the Workers field. If you use Custom Branding in Corfix, the certification card generated will apply your company's brand colors and logo to the certification automatically.

Critical Form Notifications

Notify the right people the moment a critical form is initiated for signature, not just when it’s completed. Early awareness of high-priority workflows like incident and near-miss reports can notify safety leads see as soon as possible in case they need to jump into action.

To configure Critical Form Notifications, go into the Template Builder and specify who should receive the "Critical Form Creation Notification".

Once saved, a notification will get sent to the specified people the moment this template is sent for signature.

Multiple Levels in Cost Codes

Deeper job costing accuracy is here!

Cost codes can now support up to three levels and be assigned to specific projects to limit what workers can select from. Guide your workers automatically through selecting the appropriate top and sub-level work associated for better reporting and analysis.

To set this up from the Manage Cost Codes screen, you can select the cost code level and group cost codes underneath a Parent cost code:

After completing set up, cost codes can also be assigned to a project from the project details page:

Workers will be prompted to select cost codes based on project setup and level structure:

If a project does not have specific cost codes assigned to it, a worker will be able to select from the full list of cost codes.

Multiple Required Roles on Templates

You can now grant template access to every role necessary, in one template.

When configuring template access via the "Required Roles" option, you can now select any combination of roles that should be able to view and fill out the form. Workers with at least one of the assigned roles gain access, eliminating the need to duplicate templates or manage complex templates and roles for multi-role access scenarios.

Additional Enhancements & Fixes

  • Forms:

    • Resolved an issue where the form status "completed" was displayed with a lowercase 'c' instead of an uppercase 'C' in resolution forms.
    • Fixed a bug where scheduled form notifications were being sent at incorrect times, ensuring notifications are now dispatched 4 hours prior to the scheduled form's due time as intended.
  • Binders:

    • Introduced the ability for users to add external URLs as binder resources. External links will open in a new tab, are excluded from zip downloads, and are not available for offline mode.
    • Fixed a search functionality issue in Binders where file names containing hyphens caused search results to be imprecise and show irrelevant items.

    Mobile:

    • Enhanced the mobile app to make email addresses and phone numbers clickable across key sections, including "My Account," "View Worker" profiles (email, emergency, personal), and "Project Details" (hospital, contacts). Tapping these fields will now automatically open the default email application or phone dialer for quick communication.
    • Resolved an issue where the "Punch-In" quick action button on the dashboard was incorrectly hidden from users who lacked "View Forms" and "Add a Form" permissions, even if they had appropriate timekeeping access. The button now displays based on correct timekeeping permissions.
    • Corrected a bug where the "Punch-In" quick action button on the dashboard was not visible to users unless they also had "View Forms" and "Add a Form" permissions enabled, even if Timekeeping permissions were set correctly.
    • Updated the interface with standardized button components across Workers, Assets, Tasks, Timecards, and Forms for improved consistency.
    • Resolved an issue where form templates marked as archived in the admin panel were still accessible and visible to workers on the mobile application. Archived templates are now correctly hidden from the mobile interface.
  • Certifications:
    • Implemented the ability to create certifications for multiple workers simultaneously, allowing the same files to be attached to all selected certifications for streamlined entry.
    • Added new fields in certifications, including "Created At," and "Updated At," to provide more detailed tracking and reporting for certification records across web and mobile.
  • PDFs:
    • Added "Reviewed By" and "Reviewed At" details to form PDFs, allowing users to see who reviewed a form and when it was reviewed once it transitions from "Pending Review."
    • Fixed an issue where images and text were missing or incorrectly formatted, along with excessive page breaks, when downloading form PDFs.
    • Resolved an issue where images uploaded to the Photo Component were overlapping or squished on generated PDFs, ensuring images display correctly.
    • Corrected an issue where images from the Photo component were missing from generated PDFs when specific survey answers (e.g., "Deficient") were selected.
    • Addressed an issue preventing PDF generation for certain forms due to malformed HTML, resolving the underlying error.
    • Fixed a problem where the Date component was not displaying correctly on generated PDFs, appearing empty or with incorrect formatting.
    • Resolved a PDF generation issue in Forms where table components, specifically columns, were extending beyond the boundaries of the PDF.
    • Fixed an issue in Forms where photos within an Edit Grid component were not displaying in the web preview or on generated PDFs, and eliminated excessively long page breaks.
    • Corrected an issue where the Photo component in Forms was not adhering to the user-defined image display and pixel sizing settings in templates on generated PDFs.
    • Fixed an error preventing PDF generation for forms if the template used for creation was archived during the form creation process. This also resolves a related issue where reactivating the template did not enable subsequent PDF generation.
    • Corrected an issue where columns within a 'Grouping' component would incorrectly stack vertically instead of displaying side-by-side when the form was viewed or downloaded as a PDF.
  • Workers:
    • Fixed an issue where blocked workers were inadvertently removed from their assigned roles when those roles were edited and saved. Blocked workers now correctly retain their roles.
  • Timekeeping:
    • Users can now filter timecard lists, aggregations, and counts by specific groups on the web, enhancing data organization and improving visibility.
    • Resolved an issue where the automatic lunch deduction was not correctly removed when a timecard's edited hours fell below the required threshold for a lunch break.
    • Administrators can now opt to include timecard notes in the "By Worker PDF" export. A new "Include Notes" toggle has been added to the export options, which, when enabled, adds a dedicated "Notes" column to the PDF. To ensure optimal readability with the added information, the PDF will now render in landscape orientation when notes are included. If the toggle is off, the notes column will be omitted, and the export will remain in portrait orientation.
  • Integrations:
    • Resolved an integration issue where new projects created in Corfix from Procore were not syncing forms or creating folders in Procore.
  • Payroll:
    • Enabled GL codes within Payroll for QuickBooks integration support.

Coming Soon ...

Curious about what we're working on next? Here's just a taste of some of the functionality we have in the works! Be on the look out for the following in a future release:

Multiple Pay Rates

Track time accurately, even when workers wear multiple hats.

Workers can be assigned several pay rates based on the roles they perform. When clocking in or creating a timecard, workers will be able to select which rate is applicable for that shift.

This ensures time is tracked and paid for the appropriate type of work, making timekeeping records and compensation accurate without extra manual adjustments.

Configurable Notifications for Scheduled Forms

Send form reminders on your preferred schedule. Choose when reminders go out to workers and set up recurring notifications that best match your team's workflow. Scheduled forms are created automatically on the due date if they haven't been filled out yet, keeping your compliance and documentation on track.

1-Click for Tasks on Mobile

Workers will be able to  accept tasks, mark them complete, and add notes directly from the task list with prominent quick action buttons. No need to open individual tasks, scroll, or navigate through multiple fields. Spend less time looking around, and more time getting work done.
