[Workers](https://knowledge.corfix.com/articles/corfix-admins?hsLang=en#workers) October 2, 2025 # My worker is stuck in 'Pending Email Verification'—how do I reset them? ## This article explains how to reset a worker who is stuck in the 'Pending Email Verification' status. The worker may be stuck in this status if there’s a mistake in the email address or if the worker's email has changed, preventing them from receiving the activation email. To reset the worker, follow these steps from the **Workers** page (found in the left-side menu):   **Step 1:** Locate the worker with the 'Pending Email Verification' status and click **Choose Action** on the right. ![](https://knowledge.corfix.com/hs-fs/hubfs/Screen%20Shot%202022-12-22%20at%208-55-24%20AM-png.png?width=655&height=260&name=Screen%20Shot%202022-12-22%20at%208-55-24%20AM-png.png)   **Step 2:** Select **Deactivate** from the dropdown menu. If the worker just needs another email, select **Resend Verification Email, **another activation email will be sent with a new temporary password. ![](https://knowledge.corfix.com/hs-fs/hubfs/Screen%20Shot%202022-12-22%20at%209-01-35%20AM-png.png?width=628&height=264&name=Screen%20Shot%202022-12-22%20at%209-01-35%20AM-png.png)   The worker’s status will now change to **Pending Account Activation**.  From here follow the steps to set the worker to an "Active for Kiosk" status. - **Steps to Edit Worker Profile** 1. **Deactivate the worker.** 2. **Edit the profile.** - Remove the email address from the email field. - Paste the email into the **Notes** section for reference. 3. **Save** the profile changes. 4. **Reactivate the worker.** - If a worker does not have an email on their account, they will be reactivated as **“Active for Kiosk.”** - In this state, workers can still sign off on forms using another person’s device, without needing to log into Corfix on their own phone.   -
