What does "Not scheduled" mean on a worker card?

The label on a worker's card in the Resources panel tells you at a glance how much of the current week they're already assigned.

Quick answer

Not scheduled means that worker has no assignments anywhere on the board for the current week. If they do have assignments, the card shows a count instead, like 1 day, telling you how many days of the visible week they're already committed to.

Each worker's card in the Resources panel carries a short status so you can tell their availability without leaving the board. Not scheduled is the clearest signal — it means that worker is completely free for the week you're viewing and is a good candidate to drag onto a card. A count like 1 day means they already have at least one assignment this week, though it doesn't say which day or project — for that detail, hover the card to see the full availability breakdown.

Before you begin

  • The Resources panel and worker statuses are visible to admins in the web portal.
  • The status reflects only the week currently shown on the board.

What you can do

  • Spot open workers fast. Scan the Workers tab in Resources for cards labeled Not scheduled to find people with nothing on their plate this week.
  • Gauge partial availability. A label like 1 day tells you the worker has some commitment already, without needing to open every card on the board to check.
  • Confirm with the availability hover. Hover a worker's card to see "X of 7 days this week" with each day marked, if you need to know exactly which days are already spoken for.
  • Use the label before dragging. Checking the status first helps you avoid accidentally double-booking someone who already has a busy week.

  • Quick staffing pass: scan for Not scheduled workers when you need to fill several open cards fast.
  • Avoiding overload: notice a worker already shows several days scheduled before assigning them to yet another project.

Troubleshooting

A worker shows Not scheduled but I know I assigned them. Check that you're viewing the same week the assignment was made on — the label only reflects the week currently on screen.
