[Scheduling](https://knowledge.corfix.com/articles/corfix-admins?hsLang=en#scheduling) July 10, 2026 # How do I switch between Workers and Assets in the Resources panel? ## Use the two tabs in the Resources panel to move between the people you can schedule and the equipment you can schedule. **Quick answer** Click the **Workers** or **Assets** tab at the top of the **Resources** panel to switch which set of cards you're browsing and dragging from. **Overview** The **Resources** panel holds everything you can assign to a project — workers on one tab, assets on the other. Only one tab is shown at a time, so switching between them is how you move from staffing a card with people to staffing it with equipment. Both tabs share the same panel and the same drag-and-drop behavior; only the underlying list changes. **Before you begin** - The **Resources** panel is available to **admins** in the **web portal**. **Steps** 1. **Find the Resources panel.** It sits above the schedule grid, showing a resource count and search box. 2. **Click the Workers tab** to see worker cards, each showing a status like **Not scheduled** or a day count. 3. **Click the Assets tab** to see equipment cards instead. 4. **Search within the active tab.** Use **Search workers by name or ID** on the Workers tab to find a person; the Assets tab has its own search for equipment. 5. **Drag from whichever tab is active.** Whatever tab you're on determines whether you're dragging a worker or an asset onto the grid. **Use cases** - **Staffing a card fully:** switch to **Workers** to assign people, then switch to **Assets** to assign equipment to the same card. - **Equipment-only check:** switch to **Assets** to see what equipment is free this week without worker cards cluttering the view. **Troubleshooting** **I'm trying to drag a worker but keep getting assets instead.** Check which tab is active in the **Resources** panel — you can only drag from the tab currently selected. **Does switching tabs change what's on the grid?** No. Switching tabs only changes what's shown in the **Resources** panel itself;
