This article will outline how Kiosk mode works.
When starting Corfix you will want to think about how it will be used in the field:
One question to consider is "Will everyone have/use their own devices?"
If the answer is no, you will want to consider Kiosk mode.
Kiosk mode is the concept of having a device on-site that is either stationary or managed by a supervisor/foreman. Having this one device allows your supervisor/foreman to fill out Forms and for workers to sign off on those Forms. If you have the Punch Clock add-on, the same rules apply as workers can punch in or out on the device, or the supervisor can create time cards for the kiosk workers.
For Kiosk mode to work the supervisor would add the worker to the Form that they must sign off on. The supervisor will then pass off the device to the worker and they can add their signature.
Kiosk mode gives you a lot of flexibility with adoption and helps if workers forget their phone or don't have a phone.
Kiosk mode is always active, so it is always an option. Workers with Active/Active for Kiosk status will have the ability to sign forms/punch in and out on anyone's device, no login required if you are using another person's device.
You may need a Kiosk Pin if your company has set up the Required Pin for Kiosk Mode. Please contact your Corfix admin for your kiosk pin, if you are a Kiosk user.
If you use your own device to log into Corfix, you can view your PIN in your account details. Select your name in the menu on the Corfix app to access your account details.
