Restricting Access to Form Templates in Corfix

This article will summarize how you can restrict form templates to a specified group of workers using Roles.

Corfix Guide: Restricting Access to Specific Form Templates

Purpose

To ensure that only authorized team members can view or edit sensitive form templates — such as the Health and Safey Policy — by assigning role-based access.

Step-by-Step Instructions

  1. Go to the Templates Section

    • From the main dashboard, navigate to FormsTemplates.

  2. Locate the Template

    • Find the template you want to restrict (e.g., Health and Safety Policy).

  3. Open Template Options

    • Click Show Options on the right side of the template’s name.

  4. Set Required Role

    • In the options menu, look for Required Role.

    • Choose the role(s) that should have access (e.g., Managers, Supervisors, Admins).

    • This setting ensures that only users with the selected role(s) can see or use the template.

  5. Save Changes

    • Confirm your selection to apply the restriction.

    • Once saved, only users with the assigned role can view or edit the template.

Tips

  • Use Admin or Manager roles for HR or policy-related templates.

  • Regular employees won’t see templates with restricted roles.

  • You can always return to Show Options to adjust access levels later.
