How do I create a worker group in Scheduling?
Group workers together so you can schedule them as a single crew instead of one at a time.
Quick answer
Click the Worker Group button in the Resources panel to create a new group, then add the workers you want in it.
Overview
A worker group lets you bundle several workers together — a regular crew, for instance — so you can treat them as one unit when scheduling instead of dragging each person individually every time. Groups live alongside individual workers in the Resources panel.
Before you begin
- Creating a worker group is done by an admin in the web portal.
- The workers you want in the group must already exist in Corfix.
Steps
- Open the Resources panel and switch to the Workers tab.
- Click Worker Group. This opens the option to build a new group.
- Name the group and add the workers who belong to it.
- Save the group. It now appears alongside individual worker cards in Resources and can be scheduled as a unit.
Use cases
- Regular crews: group a set of workers who consistently work together so you can schedule the whole crew in one motion.
- Specialty teams: group workers by skill or certification so you can pull the right team onto a project fast.
Troubleshooting
I don't see a Worker Group option. Confirm you're on the Workers tab in the Resources panel — the button lives there.
Can a worker belong to more than one group? This isn't confirmed in current source material — verify with product before publishing.
