This article will summarize how you can create Tasks Types.
If you do not see an option to select a Task Type when creating a Task, it means there are currently no Task Types set up in your account. Because Task Type is a required field, you will need to create at least one Task Type before you can proceed. This usually happens if all existing Task Types have been deleted, as default Task Types are automatically provided when you first start using Corfix.
Task Types allow you to segment your tasks, making it easier to find specific tasks through reporting. You can create as many tasks as you would like to account for other use cases. By default you will see that the following Task Types are already created for you;
- Corrective
- Preventative
- Task
Here is how you can create more!
Step 1: Select Tasks in the menu.
Step 2: Select the "Task Types" button.
Step 3: Create and manage Task Types within this screen.
