How do I export timecards to Maestro?

This article will show you how to export timecards to Maestro.

If it is your first time exporting timecards to Maestro, please contact your Customer Success Manager or Blueprint Partner to get set up.

Activity Check if timecard has cost code of type rate, if not then Pay Rate Code

Follow these steps to export the timecard information to Maestro:

Step 1: Click on "Timekeeping" from the left side menu

Step 2: Click "Export" on the top right

Step 3: Select your pay period and your accounting software (Maestro). You will then need to enter the values that correspond with your Maestro account and click Export Timecards at the bottom.

Hours

  • Will be in decimal format
  • Will be the regular, overtime, doubletime or the amount for a fixed cost code

Multiple Rows Per Timecard

Each timecard can have several rows

Regular Time

  • Rate Type is populated with A
  • Hours is populated timecard.hours

Overtime

  • Rate Type is populated with B
  • Hours is populated timecard.overtimeHours

Double Time

  • Rate Type is populated with C
  • Hours is populated timecard.doubletimeHours

Fixed Cost Code

  • Rate Type is populated with P
  • Hours is populated with the Fixed Cost Code
  • Bonus is populated with the RateCost Codes

There are 4 possible rate types: 

  • A: Regular time
  • B: Overtime
  • C: Double time
  • P: Fixed Cost

The export will be in the form of a CSV and hours will show in decimal format.
