How do I find my way around the Scheduling view?

Understand the parts of the Corfix schedule board so you can move between projects, days, and resources quickly.

Applies to: Admin | Web portal

Quick answer

The schedule board has three parts: the date bar at the top (move between weeks with the arrows or jump back with Today), the Resources panel of workers and assets you assign from, and the schedule grid where projects run down the left and days run across the top. You place and open scheduling cards inside the grid.

Overview

Everything in Scheduling sits on one screen so you can plan a whole week without leaving the page. Once you know the three areas and what each does, building and reading the schedule becomes fast. This article is a map of the screen. For how to actually assign a worker, see How do I schedule a worker to a project for a day?

Before you begin

  • The schedule board is available to admins in the web portal.

How to move around the schedule

  1. Set the week with the date bar. At the top, the current week's range is shown (for example, 7/6/2026 to 7/12/2026). Use the left and right arrows to step to the previous or next week, or click Today to jump straight back to the current week.
  2. Filter the project list. The status filters (All, Needs Attention, Complete, No Schedule) each show a count. Click one to narrow the grid to just those projects. This is the fastest way to find projects that still need staffing.
  3. Search for a project. Use the Search projects box to jump to a specific project by name.
  4. Open the Resources panel. Below the filters is the Resources panel. Switch between the Workers and Assets tabs to see the people or equipment you can assign, and use Search workers by name or ID to find one fast. Each worker card shows a status such as Not scheduled or 1 day.
  5. Read the grid. Projects are listed down the left, each with its address. Days of the week are the columns across the top. Where a project row meets a day column is where that project's schedule for that day lives.
  6. Add or open a card. An empty day cell shows a + to add a scheduling card. A day that already has a card shows count badges, for example 2/5 workers and 1/2 assets. Hover or tap the expand icon on a card to see the assigned workers and assets by name, or click the card to open the full Edit Assignment panel.

Use cases

  • Weekly build: step forward a week and lay out staffing before it arrives.
  • Quick triage: filter to Needs Attention to see only the projects still missing people or equipment.

Troubleshooting

I do not see a project I expected.
Check your status filter. If it is set to something other than All, projects outside that status are hidden. Clear it back to All, or use the search box.

I moved weeks and my cards disappeared.
The board shows one week at a time. Use Today or the arrows to return to the week your cards are on.
