How do I search for a specific project in Scheduling?
Jump straight to a project by name instead of scrolling through the whole list.
Quick answer
Use the Search projects box at the top left of the Scheduling board to filter the grid down to projects matching what you type.
Overview
As your project list grows, scrolling to find one project row gets slow. The Search projects box narrows the grid to matching projects by name, so you can get straight to the row you need. It works alongside the status filters — for example, you can search for a project name and still have Needs Attention active, and only matching projects in that status will show.
Before you begin
- Searching for a project is available to admins in the web portal.
- The project must already exist in Corfix to appear in results.
Steps
- Find the Search projects box. It sits at the top left of the Scheduling board, above the project rows.
- Type part of the project's name. The grid narrows as you type, showing only matching rows.
- Open the project's row. Once you see it, work with its cells as usual — click a day's + to add a card, or click an existing card to open it.
- Clear the search. Delete the text in the box to bring the full project list back.
Use cases
- Fast lookup: find one project quickly on a board with dozens of active sites.
- Combined narrowing: search by name while a status filter like Needs Attention is active, to check just that project's staffing gaps.
Troubleshooting
My search returns nothing. Double check the spelling, or that the project hasn't been archived or removed from Corfix.
I searched but also want to see its status. Search only narrows by name — it doesn't change the active status filter. Combine it with All if you want to confirm the project's current staffing state without restriction.
