Timekeeping Updates January 6th 2025

This article will summarize some changes that were made to Timekeeping that may affect your current workflow.

We have made some changes to Timekeeping to optimize the Corfix platform further, making the experience even better and in anticipation of further updates to come for Timekeeping.

The 2 changes made were;

- Automatic Project and Worker table refreshes are now less frequent.

- The current pay period is automatically filtered on the timecard table.

Refresh Frequency

Refresh frequency is now going to be on a timed scheduled(around every hour) where it used to be refreshed every time the page was visited. Tables that are affected;

- Time Cards grouped by Project

- Time Cards grouped by Workers

If you do not want to wait for the automatic refresh you can use the Refresh button and manually update the tables. Each table has its own refresh button.

 

Pay Period Filter

Don't worry your timecards are not deleted! We have made a change to only show the current pay period. 

If the pay period that is showing is not the correct pay period, please update your Pay Period in your Company Details, here is a link to a Guide to walk you through how to do this. Configure Pay Period.

Suggested Workflow after new updates

Here is a suggested workflow that utilizes the Corfix UI in the best way to help when filtering and approving timecards.

Select either the All Projects option (Time Cards grouped by Project table) or the All Workers option (Time Cards grouped by Workers table), it will bring you to this page.

From this screen, you can use the filters to find the information you are looking for and approve Timecards. This screen can be used to find all your information for all timecards across all workers/projects.

If you click into a timecard and make edits, use the back button on the browser to bring you back with all your saved filters.
