How do I get back to the current week in Scheduling?

Click Today in the date bar to jump straight back to the current week from anywhere.

Overview

After stepping through several weeks with the arrows, Today is the fastest way back to the present. It's a single click regardless of how far you've moved, which makes it the natural reset point whenever you're done planning ahead or reviewing a past week.

Before you begin

  • The Today button is available to admins in the web portal.

Steps

  1. Find the Today button in the date bar, next to the previous and next arrows.
  2. Click Today. The board jumps directly to the current week, regardless of which week you were viewing.
  3. Confirm the range. The displayed week updates to match today's date.

Use cases

  • Returning after planning ahead: jump back to the current week after building out staffing several weeks in advance.
  • Quick reset: get back to the present after reviewing a past week's schedule.

Troubleshooting

I clicked Today but the week still looks unfamiliar. Confirm the displayed date range actually includes today's date — if it does, the board is showing the correct week; check your expectations against the calendar rather than the board.
