How do I set up new pay rates?

This article will summarize how you can set up your own pay rates.

Pay Rates are the backbone of the Timekeeping Module. They ensure you can;

- Allow for Workers to start using timekeeping in their Corfix app.

- Automate Overtime Rules

Every Worker that needs to either creating a timecard or Punch in/Out, needs to be assigned to a pay rate. Assigning to a pay rate will use a Timekeeping License (More on this here).

Within Corfix, Employee Pay Rates and total pay for the pay period are not calculated. Corfix Timekeeping solely calculates hours worked. 

Here is how you can set up your own pay rate;

 

1. Go to Timekeeping.

2. Next, go to Settings.

3. Then, select Manage Pay Rates.

4. Lastly, select the Add button.

 

From here you can set in your;

- Overtime rules

- Double time rules

- Custom Rules

If you are exporting timecards into your accounting software please reference the Corfix Guide for your software, or refer to your Customer Success Manager. There will be fields that need to be populated in Corfix exactly as their are in your Accounting Software.
